If you are looking for a totally unique wedding stationery design, we can work together to create your dream design. You can have as much or as little input into the process as you desire. The process is simple:

• You have an hour long consultation with me (Katy Nelson) to discuss your requirements in terms of design, budget and items needed.
• Within 14 working days, I come up with at least one idea and provide you with sketches and swatches of any materials used as well as pricing. Usually, I will have a set of rough mock-ups for you to view but it depends upon the availability of materials. We can then meet for a second time to go through the ideas and make any changes necessary.
• When we have finalised your design and you place an order, you will receive a set of samples free of charge.

Please leave as much time as possible before your wedding to organise bespoke stationery. It can be a lengthy process to fine tune your design. I want you to be 100% happy with every detail. Also, we may want to use papers, embellishments etc that I do not hold in stock and that are made especially for you which can take up to 6 weeks – maybe longer. I will advise you on lead times as we go through the design process.

The bespoke design service costs £25.00 including your two consultations and a set of samples if you place an order. This charge is totally refundable if you spend over £500 on the final order.

To make sure that we can get the most out of the consultation, here are some things to think about before you come:

• the tone you want to set for your wedding
• your personality as a couple
• any theme you would like
• your colour choices
• the bridal gown or floral arrangements you have/plan to purchase
• your budget

Also, bringing any of the following to your consultation would help too:

• Pictures and swatches of fabric from your dress/bridesmaids’ dresses
• Pictures of your floral arrangements
• Details of your venue – possibly a leaflet
• Cuttings from magazines that you particularly like
• Examples of any other stationery that you like
